A form table is a summary, not a full explanation. The quality of opponents, home and away splits, red cards, and fixture congestion can all change how a run of results should be interpreted. Five wins against struggling teams do not necessarily mean a team is stronger than one that faced elite opposition.
Compare the underlying performances as well as the scorelines. Look at shots, chance quality when reliable data is available, defensive errors, and whether the same pattern appears across several matches. Small samples are noisy, so describe trends cautiously and avoid treating recent form as a guarantee.
